Julie Thompson and Thomas Marsden

The Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation would like to take this time to recognize the generous contributions of Julie Thompson, Thomas Marsden, and their employers, The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation ("Freddie Mac") and The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. The couple's initial donation of $3,000 was matched by both of their respective companies for a total donation of $9,000.

The Freddie Mac Foundation provides money for initiatives to develop affordable housing for children's programs, and they participate in and contribute to numerous charitable organizations that provide aide to low-income families, including Habitat for Humanity.

The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation has partnered with the world's most successful enterprises for over 165 years to provide thorough and accurate business information.

As a benefit for their employees, both of these organizations offer Gift Matching for charitable donations up to $15,000 a year.

The couple first heard about Cesar several years ago and adopted his methods successfully in order to get control of their nine year-old greyhound/lab mix Emily. When they learned about the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation via the website and monthly newsletter, they were overjoyed.

"Cesar has an amazing way of packaging this information and bringing it forward, and he's very genuine," said Thompson, "I read his book, and with my background in psychology, I thought 'this makes so much sense.' When I was younger, I used to volunteer at DC Animal Control, but I don't really have the time to volunteer myself these days, so I do what I can. I love the cause; I think it's wonderful to help the shelters get the best information and resources they can get."
